记者了解到，8月30日，开学报名前一天，家住石泉县熨斗镇的小新与3个小朋友在一间空旷的民房三楼玩耍，楼顶放置的一桶甲醇引起了孩子们的好奇心。小新父亲张先生说：“当天晚上7时许，天气还有点热，她们发现甲醇滴到手臂上冰冰凉凉觉得好玩，就把桶里的甲醇挤出来滴在身上，不小心将甲醇滴在她们刚点燃的蜡烛上，</span><strong><span style='font-size: 16px;color: 当晚两个孩子被送往镇医院抢救，伤势太重又转到县医院。另一名伤者因为伤势过重抢救无效不幸死亡。小新在西京医院治疗一段时间后，转回了安康人民医院治疗。除了身体上的创伤之外，那场大火也成了小新心理上无法抹去的噩梦，每天深夜时不时尖叫着从梦中抽搐惊醒。张先生说：“我跟小新妈妈10年前离婚，我一直在外地打工，想给孩子更好的生活，回家看到她这个样子，心如刀绞，她有时候疼得受不了会说‘不如让我死了算了’，我听着真的很难受，作为父亲，我一定要竭尽所能挽救她。”<br>
