16px;'>18年来，魏惠玉用心照顾患病的公公，以爱心坚守孝道，诠释了家与爱的真谛。2004年4月，魏惠玉的公公突发脑溢血，经过医院奋力抢救，老人的生命虽然保住了，但却留下严重的后遗症，看着身体欠佳的婆婆，想想忙于工作的丈夫和正上小学的女儿，魏惠玉毅然辞职，做起了全年无休的家庭主妇。从未照顾过病人的魏惠玉，上网查阅资料，买相关书籍，请教医生、护士等，一心帮助公公恢复。端水、喂饭、擦屎、接尿、洗澡、泡脚，她全身心投入到家庭里。</span></section><section 16px;'>“久病床前无孝子。”魏惠玉深知其难，喂一勺饭、喝一勺水，简单的事情都要反复好几遍，洒了重喂、流了再喝，但她从未退缩。原本乐观开朗的公公，因承受不了卧病在床的打击，脾气变得很不好。为了缓解公公的不良情绪，在家时，魏惠玉尽量让老人生活规律，打开收音机，播放他喜欢的节目；老人爱看秦腔戏，魏惠玉就打开电视，陪他收看《秦之声》等节目；她还找出旧相册，陪老人翻阅，让他回忆照片中的人和事并讲解出来，训练话语能力。为了让老人高兴，每周末回娘家，魏惠玉和丈夫都要用轮椅推上公公，让父母开导亲家公，做他喜欢吃的饭菜，帮他解开心结。正是这种陪伴与鼓励，让老人从拒不配合到逐渐配合。虽然公公已患病18年，但每年的常规体检中，各项指标都很正常，就连医护人员都称之为奇迹，用爱创造奇迹的魏惠玉想法很简单，那个瘫痪在床的老人，是她家不能缺少的一员。</span></section><p
