意外事件影响，若骑手途中遇到突发的交通事故（即使骑手没有责任，但处理事故也会耽误时间）、道路临时管制等情况，消费者可以选择体谅。毕竟这些意外不是骑手能够控制的，并且骑手可能也在尽力补救，比如联系其他同事帮忙送餐等。
对骑手工作的理解，骑手的工作本身具有高强度和高压力，他们需要在规定时间内完成多个订单的配送任务。偶尔的超时可能是由于订单集中、商家出餐慢等多种复杂因素叠加的结果。如果消费者能够站在骑手的角度思考问题，可能会选择体谅而不是一味要求赔偿。
